Week I : Consultation Reflective

Before the consultation, I focused on ‘name-calling’ in politics and listed names in politics between the right wings and left wings as much as I could.

Then I got the idea from the name tag sticker which is common and well known. I changed from “Hello, my name is…” to “Hello, they called me…”.

I was planning to put them on the mannequins or puppets (Haven’t planned yet of what materials) in order to send the messages.

From the consultation, this visual was too weak for politics. Maybe I should try something like “Don’t frame me” or come up with strong tag line.

I was still lack of information of Tribalism in Thai politics as there are many sections in both sides. Also, I still didn’t know yet about my position in Thesis project. Who I want to be? Do I want to be in the circle or just the observer?

“Name-calling” in politics is some kind of stereotype and branding identity which I have to look more.

Tools those have been used in politics. There are our nation, religions, economy, the monarchy, soldiers, people, capitalism and media.

What I planned to do next are list all of the tribals, categorise all of the discourse and see what tools they are using and ask myself about my position in this project.
