All things that make up, govern, administer and control society…They take place on the internet — James Bridle.

Today people uses internet in their everyday life. For studying, news, chatting, sharing their photos and sharing their opinions. Somehow it affects on our lives even if we know or not and to our aspect on politics.

Wiroj Revealed Government’s Information Ops — 26 FEB 2020

In the censure debate in February, Mr Wiroj accused the Internal Security Operations Command of abusing its budget to fund IOs against government critics. Accusing the government of generating hatred with the ultimate goal of dividing society.

From the news above, you can see that it is hard for us now to believed whatsoever on the internet. We have no idea who is behind all those fake news as it all stored on hidden servers, owned by companies we do not know which and somewhere else in the world. I spent almost six months hiding in a Facebook group of those support government to find out why they support them and it is quite sad to say that I found none of reason to support the government…

The interesting part is they have the same pattern of defending government and attacking government critics. To defend the government, they commonly say that Prayut Chan-Ocha is good, angry because he is honest, graceful to his land and royal to royalist. All something like that and do not mention of how badly the economic is. To attack the government, they always say that they are disgraceful to the land, compare to animals, all inappropriate word (which I do not know they are using dirty words when the topic is not about sex), judging from revealing clothes, and how they look or what gender they are. By the way, they usually do not share news from official news website but the webpage that might be created from government’s IO and just photo with text of some part of the quote that we do not know who edit this.

One of the post in government supporter group that only picked one quote to convince — 25 July 2020

In conclusion, internet can be dangerous too. It is so invisible that we can not touch it and hard to know who is behind all of those things. If you think it is not dangerous, you are wrong. It can divide people into two groups or creating chaos over the country since we are connected to each other easily. Do not trust internet…use it wisely *wink*
